Lady Nefert-Iabet (“Beautiful as the Orient”, íAbt, “East, Orient”, is of the feminine gender in Egyptian): long narrow dress, asymmetrical, sticky, leopard skin. The braids are of admirable finesse. Detail of a funerary stele from Giza, 4th dynasty (2613-2498 BCE).
